
Funding
At Harry’s Day Nursery, we aim to make quality childcare accessible for all families. We offer a variety of funding options and are here to support you in understanding what’s available. Our team is happy to guide you through the process and answer any questions to help you make the best choice for your child.


Sessions
Under 2s – A minimum of two full days per week is required to secure a place.
Over 2s – A minimum of three sessions per week (3 mornings/3 afternoons or 1.5 days) is required to secure a place.
All sessions will be based on an ‘annualised booking pattern over 51 weeks’*.
*Exception for families on Two Year Funding claiming Government Support and/or Three-Year Olds using ‘Universal Entitlement’ only. These sessions can be offered ‘Term Time Only’ over 38 weeks.
15 & 30 hours free funded hours
From September 2024, Children aged 9 months may be eligible for 15 hours Early Education Entitlement (EEE) for Working Families. The funding can only be used the term following their 9-month birthday and will only be offered ‘Annualised’.
Children aged 2 years may also be entitled to 15 hours Early Education Entitlement (EEE) for Working Families or families on Government Support. The funding entitlement can only be used the term after their 2nd birthday. This funding can be used Term Time Only or Annualised. *
All 3-year olds are entitled to 15 hours ‘Universal’ Early Education Entitlement (EEE). The funding entitlement can only be used the term after their 3rd birthday. This funding can be used Term Time Only or Annualised. *
Some 3 and 4-year olds may also be eligible to 30 free hours,’ Extended’ Early Education Entitlement (EEE). This funding will only be offered ‘Annualised’.
All funding covers a 38-week period and is structured around 3 ‘school terms.’ For the annualised booking we will stretch the funding entitlement over 51 weeks.

EEE does not include meals. We do not allow food to be brought in to nursery. Morning sessions include breakfast and lunch. Afternoon sessions include tea.
