Harry’s Day Nursery is a 56 -place private day nursery that aims to provide a high standard of childcare and education. Our team will encourage the children to learn and develop in a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment.
Aims and objectives
- Provide a key worker system to enable our friendly staff to nurture and support your child in all areas of their development and learning through observation, assessment and individual knowledge of your child.
- For our team to work in partnership with parents/carers to meet your child’s individual needs. As their first educator your knowledge is invaluable.
- Provide a wide range of motivating activities in a positive learning environment to support and enrich your child’s learning.
- Provide freshly-prepared home cooked food from our nutritionally balanced menus.

- We will work closely with other professionals to ensure children with SEND receive targeted support.
- Provide children with opportunities to be independent by enabling them to do tasks themselves.
- Provide a language rich environment to give children opportunities to build their vocabulary and develop their language skills.
- We are committed to safeguarding children and families.
We are regulated and inspected by Ofsted and our practice is guided by the Department of Children, Schools and Families through the EYFS.
